Want to go overseas so badly to study but totally didnt have the money and courage to do so. FML-.-

Hey guys! i just came home from The New Paper First Film Festival:)

if you guys are following me on facebook, you should have seen the video done by my school to enter for the competition. If you haven't seen it, heres your chance:)

This video got me a ticket into this prestige event as one of the top ten finalist in this competition. Was really all excited about the event. I didn't get any info beforehand so i practically went for this event without a single knowledge about it. Since its a event showcasing the top 10, i was kinda expecting a really small gathering held at Shanghai Dolly.But WOW! The turnout was awesome and they had local celebrities hosting as well as prize presenters.

Although everything seems like it is in the perfect set, it turned out not as fun as i expected. It was almost close to 1.5hrs of wait before the event could start.Almost fell asleep on the chair with clubbing music as my lullaby-.-

It's also the first time our male lead Allen visit a club:) Obviously he did enjoy himself with the free flow of food and drinks! haha! btw, he films really good videos, some are hilarious:)so do youtube allen100xu when you guys are free:)

Okay, we were really bored during the wait and started to snaps photos with our almighty IPHONE!

Basically, the highlights of the event is to announce the top 3 films submitted to TNP. But my highlight was to see Nat Ho and Kumar:D Kumar is funny as usual, jokes are more or less the same but its just this special aura about him/her that creates a climax to the event. Okay, i do admit that i keep laughing at the part he mention about Pinos and Bangalas having a relationship. The fact that they don't understand each other is the main reason why they are together. They are just looking for companionship:)(i rephrase this sentence btw. you know what Kumar did say:)

Back to topic. I kinda feel that the results were unexpected. Because in my option, some of the winning films ain't good at all! I did seen some meaningful films which i thought would score. Results were quite disappointing because i think its kinda demoralizing for some really good directors when their hardwork lose to some substandard films. I don't know the criterias for the award, but as a consumer, the winning films really didn't capture my heart. Perhaps its just preference:)

Personally, i really like this film because the actors are really natural. although i cant figure out what are they trying to say, its still good movie with good editting skills:)

Before you watch this video, i would like to remind you to keep your hands under your jaws to prevent it from falling. Because having such a "film" as first in place is kinda an insult to really good film makers. I am not really against this kid, honestly, i think the kid make a good actor for his age.But to say that this "film" is good...erm.. maybe still alittle far away-.-

So i guess... its not just me who feel this way????i mean even if the judges wanted to encourage the kid, they can come out with a special award right.definitely not a first place-.- btw he won best actor too..So are they trying to groom a big headed director in future?

I cut my hair!
kinda regret because i really miss my long hair, and i waited for more than a year before it grew so long. I woke up one day, just felt like cutting it, and now its gone-.-
i can't really say its ugly, but it just look like some Egypt Demon when its totally straight. and did i mention that the bangs look awful?fortunately, my hair quite obedient, the fringe its kinda longer and can pull off as side bangs:)

and i am really glad that my tooth are getting straighter each day:) use to have 2 crooked bucktooth, but now i am left with one! however, now my tooth look kind of protruding:(

i am working for Mediacorp now as an wobbie. You know those ppl who warms the crowd up before each show starts?Yes, its that one. Its quite fun over there and time really flies like no ones business.I get to talk to the show host like YiFeng Jie and Lee Teng during our free time.



And since POPCORN is going to taiwan for our grad trip, i got Yifeng Jie and Leeteng to recommend some places of attraction and the must go places in taiwan.
They are much more friendly than i expect them to be. Really. We can just start a random conversation each time we had nothing to do:)

So looking forward to future job opportunities in Mediacorp:)

i think i am really having some awesome time out there and i really wanna share with you guys~

althought i don't have a valentine this year, i spend it with super awesome BSC. Kinda feel more lovey dovey with BSC right now, the things we all when through together and the bonds we had:)

We totally moved the Icing Room inspired into the concourse of Business School.The whole event went really LOVE.We even had this delication from an IIT guy-.- who made a love confession to this girl. Quite sweet but too bad the guy got no GUTS!-.--.--.- The guy wasn' even there to confess to the girl.He just got his friends to pull the girl there and ASKED HIS FRIENDS to do the delication-.- If i am the girl, no way will i get together with that guy. Not Sincere at all!

Anyway, the event was a blast with all our cupcakes given out. We were expecting only loyal supporters of BSC will be present.but there were so many other random biz-ian who came forward to decorate their very own cupcakes
